Employee Is Killed in Vehicle Accident

On January 16, 2007, Employee #1 was driving an empty log truck back to a logging site for another load of logs. Employee #1 was traveling during a winter storm which caused the road to be covered with ice and snow. As Employee #1 approached a corner at the 26-mile marker, he failed to negotiate the turn and the truck plummeted over the embankment and came to rest approximately 200 ft below. A passerby found the wreckage and notified authorities who responded and pronounced Employee # 1 dead at the scene.
