Investigation Summary
On January 11, 2006, Employee #1 was cutting a tree that was approximately 70-ft tall. There was a 10-ft to 15 ft dead pine leaning into it. When the cut tree fell, it caused the dead pine to spring back, striking the victim in the back of the head, killing him. He was wearing a hard hat.
