Employee Is Shot and Killed During Traffic Stop

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on April 12, 2007, Employee #1, a city policeman, was shot during a traffic stop. The bullet struck Employee #1 in an area that was not protected by the bullet resistant vest that he was wearing. Employee #1 was transported to the hospital where he died from his wounds.
