Employee Amputates Finger While Using a Rolling Machine

Employee #1 was operating a rolling machine when a piece of sheet metal became jammed between the rollers. Employee #1 then reached in with his left hand to pull out the sheet metal. His left hand was drawn into the rollers severing the top of his left index finger. The rolling machine was not shut off and was still operational when the employee reached in with his left hand. Employee #1 was treated but not hospitalized.
