Investigation Summary
On October 17, 2005, Employee #1, a new farm worker with Jorge Esparza FLC, was hand-harvesting olives in an orchard. As he was about to descend an aluminum ladder with a bucket of olives, the ladder shifted, and he fell approximately 14 ft to the ground. Employee #1 was hospitalized at Enloe Medical Center for fractures to his neck and right leg.
