Employee's Hand Is Injured When Caught in Press

On June 5, 2005, Employee #1 was making adjustment to the doctor blade on a press when his gloved hand slipped off the wheel. His hand was pulled into the ingoing nip point of the press' rollers. Employee #1 sustained a right index finger amputation, a second finger partial amputation, lacerations to his hand, and friction burns on his wrist.
