Employee Is Injured in Fall from Roof

On April 4, 2007, an employee was sitting on a joist, lost his balance and fell approximately 15 feet to the ground. Exactly what the employee was doing prior to the accident is unclear. The employee suffered spinal cord injury, resulting in a three-level complex fracture dislocation at T9 and T10 for which he was hospitalized. As a result of the accident, the employee is now paraplegic.
