Employees Are Injured in Fall from Scissor Lift

At approximately 8:05 a.m. on July 31, 2005, Employees #1 and #2 were working from a scissor lift approximately 20 ft above a sidewalk, cleaning a commercial property awning. The lift rolled forward, struck a soft piece of earth and fell over. Both workers were ejected from the basket and fell to the roadway. Both lost consciousness and were hospitalized for treatment of head trauma.
