Employee Fractures Skull in Fall from Hay Bale and Dies

On December 17, 2005, Employee #1 was beginning his work day at a farm and was preparing to feed some cattle. He fell 9 feet, 4 inches off some bales of hay. There were no witnesses to the accident, but he was found lying on the ground with fractures and head trauma by other employees within 5 to 10 minutes. He was transported to the hospital. He died at 7:00 p.m. on December 28, 2005.
