Employee Dies after Slipping and Falling in Restaurant

On May 25, 2005, an employee was changing the oil in one of his cooking pots. As he was walking on the floor of the kitchen, he slipped and fell, hitting his head on the floor. The employee was unconscious and non responsive to his family members who also worked at the restaurant. The family carried him to the dining area of the restaurant and called emergency medical services. The employee was transported by ambulance to Utah Valley Medical Center in Orem. He was hospitalized and passed away two days later.
