Employee Is Killed When Pinned by Falling Material

On May 16, 2005, Employee #1, a laborer with Angello's Inc. (a drywall and painting contractor), was working at a residential apartment complex under construction. He was moving 4-ft by 12-ft sheets of 0.625-in.-thick gypsum board to a staging location. While stacking the boards horizontally, eight sheets fell on Employee #1, and pinned his upper body and neck, between two stacks, in a partially prone position. He was asphyxiated and killed.
