Investigation Summary
Employee #1 was taking a break from sweeping up debris associated with the interior demolition work. Employee #1 was observed exiting the building. Approximately 45 minutes later Employee #1 was observed lying on the ground near the entrance to the building. Initial assessment determined that Employee #1 was not breathing. Employee #1 was pronounced dead upon arrival at the emergency room. Death was determined to have been a result of a heart condition and not work related.
