Employee Is Killed When Pinned Between a Vehicle and Wall

At approximately 1:30 p.m. on September 29, 2005, Employee #1, of Turtle Top Incorporated, was operating a bandsaw, which was sitting between a path being taken by a moving van and the outside wall of a building. The saw was between the overhead door and the exit door. When the van was put into drive, the van suddenly accelerated causing it to lurch foreword toward the Employee #1. The van turned right, but not enough to clear the Employee #1. It struck him in the back and right shoulder, pinning him between the left front fender and bumper of the van and the outside wall of the building. Employee #1 was killed.
