Investigation Summary
Employee was in a citrus grove working alone, harvesting Valencia oranges. Four other pickers were also in the grove, but were in other tree rows and not within sight of this employee. Employee apparently set and climbed his ladder to resume picking and fell from the ladder, suffering blunt trauma to the head and neck which caused his death.
