Employee Is Struck in Head by Falling Object and Is Killed

Employee #1 was found by a passer-by lying on the ground. A rain gutter and portion of roof edge and stepladder were noted by several witnesses to the scene after the discovery of Employee #1. A medical examination of the deceased Employee #1 determined the evidence was consistent with being struck in the head by the falling rain gutter, causing Employee #1 to fall to the ground causing secondary injuries. Employee #1 had not been assigned to repair rain gutter, but had been assigned to work in the vicinity of the rain gutter painting a nearby fence. Employee #1 was killed.
