Investigation Summary
On June 16, 2005, two automobile mechanics were repairing a vehicle, when its tire exploded. Both mechanics were struck by pieces of the exploding tire. One employee was killed when he was hit in the face. The other employee was hospitalized when he received a laceration to his arm.
