Employee injured when thrown by automobile

On July 19, 2005, Employee #1 was assisting in the instal;lation of a new traffic light. He was holding a cable that was helping to guide the light into place when a motor vehicle struck the cable. Employee #1 was thrown into the air, landing on the pavement. He suffered serious injuries, for which he was hospitalized.
