Employee Is Injured in Fall from Utility Pole

On February 11, 2005, an employee, a telecommunication worker, had just unhooked his safety belt to free climb down the utility pole when his spurs kicked loose, causing him to fall approximately 15-20 ft to the concrete sidewalk. He was hospitalized and treated for a fractured lower leg.
