Investigation Summary
On August 11, 2005, Employee #1, a carpenter apprentice, was installing siding on the fascia board, which was cut by another employee on the ground. Employee #1 climbed out the window to access the porch roof at the height of 12.5 ft. He started to nail the fascia board and was walking sideways, facing the house to the left. Employee #1 did not notice that the roof ended but the fascia board continued on. Employee #1 continued walking and fell onto the concrete. He fractured his neck. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
