Employee Amputates Finger While Moving Log

On January 23, 2006, a worker was using wire rope and a pulley block to move a log into a vat of water. The employee placed his left hand on the block, and his glove became caught between the wire rope and the block housing. The employee suffered a partial amputation of his left little finger.
