Employee Amputates Finger While Operating Table Saw

On March 2, 2006, Employee #1 was operating a table saw. As he reached around the saw to pull the material from the saw, one of his hands came into contact with the blade, amputating a finger. The accident investigation revealed that the saw blade was at too high of a position. Employee #1 was hospitalized and treated for his injury.
