Employee is injured in fall while framing

On July 22, 2004, Employee #1, a framer, was erecting a platform on an exterior top plate. After he nailed the platform in place, it began to wobble. Employee #1 attempted to step from the platform to the top plate, but he slipped and fell approximately 10 ft 8 in., striking his head on a concrete slab. Employee #1 died later that day of his injuries.
