Investigation Summary
On April 30, 2004, an employee was working in a logging operation, was struck by a short piece of the log butt that was dislodged as the turn went to the landing. The chunk bounced down the hill like a ball and struck the employee in the back, breaking his tail bone and right leg. The employee was hospitalized.
