Employee Sustains Fracture in Fall with Ladder

At approximately 9:15 a.m. on December 5, 2006, Employee #1 was climbing a 16-ft-long portable metal ladder which was leaning against an office building that was 11-ft 2 in. high. As Employee #1 tried to get off the ladder, the ladder slipped backward and Employee #1 fell with the ladder onto a concrete floor. Employee #1 sustained multiple fractures to his left wrist and left foot which required a surgery and hospitalization for 5 days.
