Employee Is Injured When Struck by Piece of Wood

At approximately 8:30 a.m. on July 24, 2006, Employee #1 sustained multiple serious injuries (not specified) when a piece of wood material struck him in the abdomen, while he was operating a multiple rip saw. He was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he was admitted and surgery was performed. Employee #1 was hospitalized for 5 days.
