Employee Is Injured When Forklift Strikes Column

At approximately 1:30 a.m. on March 7, 2006, Employee #1, an order puller with a Lowe's Home Improvement Distribution Center, was operating a Crown forklift (Model Number FC 4000), when it ran into a steel column. He was not wearing the machine's seat belt. Employee #1's face and head struck the lift truck's mast assembly. He was hospitalized at Riverside County Regional Medical Center for a concussion.
