Investigation Summary

At approximately 3:00 pm on October 6, 2005, Employee #1, a convenience store worker at a Busler Location #2 convenience store on Hwy 41 & Old State Rd. in Evansville, Indiana was shot and died in a store robbery. Employee #1 was initially shot two times then as the Employee tried to crawl away the robber shot Employee #1 two more times. Employee #1 died from the gun shot injuries on October 9, 2005, at the hospital. Vanderburgh County Sheriffs Office listed the incident as crime incident #1 Murder and crime incident #2 Robbery. The employer and law enforcement officials stated that no other person besides Employee #1 and the killer were inside the store at the time of the incident.
