Employee Is Injured in Fall from Scaffold Ladder

On August 5, 2005, Employee #1, working for Rainbow Waterproofing & Restoration as an apprentice painter, was climbing the ladder of a stationary scaffold approximately 15 feet high when he fell from the ladder, struck a coworker, and landed on the sidewalk. He bruised his left leg and received a bump on his head. He was transported by emergency services to SF General Hospital, where he was hospitalized for approximately four days.
