Employee is injured when struck by wooden box

At approximately 5:15 p.m. on March 7, 2005, Employee #1 was maneuvering a 65-lb wooden crate onto a hand truck. He lost control of the crate, causing it to fall. The crate struck his knee and resulted in a contusion. The contusion became serious over time, requiring medical attention about 9 days later. He was transported to a medical center, where he was hospitalized for medical treatment and care of the injury.
