Employee Amputates Finger While Lubricating Chain

At approximately 6:30 a.m. on July 18, 2008, Employee #1, a mechanic, was lubricating the chain and the sprocket chain drive of the machine when his hand was caught by the chain resulting in the amputation of his left index finger and the little finger. Employee #1 was taken to a hand clinic for treatment and was released the same day.
