Employee Is Injured in Fall from Ladder

At approximately 11:10 a.m. on April 3, 2007, an employee was carrying a 12-foot span rain gutter in one hand and stood on the step below the topcap, approximately 7 feet from the ground, to gain reach and height. He lost his balance and fell approximately 7 feet to a concrete ground below. The employee suffered a facial fracture injury and stayed three nights at UCI Medical Center.
