Investigation Summary
On May 26, 2006, Employee #1 was installing door moldings for his employer, CJW Builders Incorporated; a residential construction contractor. He placed a 7-ft step ladder in a leaning position against a wall. The ladder slipped off the wall as soon as he stepped on it. He was injured when he fell awkwardly and hurt his left ankle. He was hospitalized at County USC Medical for surgery on his ankle.
