Event: 10/10/2003
Employee is injured when he falls from rooff

At approximately 2:00 a.m. p.m. on October 10, 2003, an employee was covering a temporary floor over some trusses and joists. When he finished the project, he walked to the access or egress ladder at the edge of the floor. One of the sheets covering the floor was not nailed down. While walking across the temporary floor, he went through the flooring to the concrete floor approximately 14 ft. below. Prior to landing, he hit a lathe, causing a fracture to his right cheek, bruising, and a deep laceration to his head.
