Employee is injured when entangled by construction debris

At approximately 11:00 a.m. on June 24, 2004, Employee #1, a construction worker, was demolishing a two-story bank building on Erma Road in San Diego. Employee #1 was descending the stairway, when he tripped and became entangled in the construction debris. The inspection revealed the employee failed to keep the stairway clear of construction debris. Employee #1 endured fractures and lacerations to his right leg.
