Vehicle strikes and kills traffic maintenance employees

On August 1, 2003, Employee #1 of the Maintenance of Traffic Department, closed the lane at a toll plaza site, while Employees #2, #3 and coworkers from a subcontracting company, were stripping the enclosed area. An automobile drove through the temporarily closed lane, striking Employees #1, #2 and #3, and killing them.
