Employee injures back when struck by falling wall

At approximately 3:00 p.m. on June 17, 2003, Employee #1 and three other employees were lifting a wooden wall. The wall weighed approximately 1500 lb, was constructed of 2-in. by 6-in. lumber, and was approximately 12 ft tall and 20 ft long. As the four employees were raising it by hand and putting it into place, three of the employees dropped it because of the weight. Employee #1 was bent over backward, crushed, and suffered a severed spinal cord.
