Employee killed after falling 50 feet from crane bridge

On July 17, 2003, Employee #1 was doing maintenance work on the bridge of a crane. He was taking a part up on the bridge that weighed about 40 pounds. The employee stumbled and fell through a gap between the rails, about 50 ft. Employee #1 was killed. The employee was on a catwalk with guardrails on one side but fell off the other side.
