Two Employees Killed When Truck Rolls Over

On May 23, 2003, Employee #1, a private sector employee, and Employee #2, an enlisted individual with the Utah National Guard, were prepared to drive a M935 5-ton cargo truck, belonging to the U.S. Army, for the purpose of providing training on a newly installed anti-lock braking system. Employee #1 was driving, while Employee #2 was a passenger. During this training exercise, Employee #1 lost control of the vehicle on an active two-lane highway. The vehicle flipped over and landed in a shallow ravine on the side of the road. Both employees died at the scene.
