Employee's Arm Is Fractured in Fall from Platform

At 6:00 p.m. on November 7, 2006, Employee #1 was standing on the edge of a platform connecting a hose to a silo in the milk receiving area of a cheese manufacturing plant. The hose was under pressure from the night line cleaning process. When the sound of the pressure in the hose startled him, he moved backwards, lost his balance, fell approximately 1 ft, and landed on a tile floor. He was hospitalized at Hanford Community Hospital for a fractured right arm.
