Employee Dies after Fall from Elevated Level

At approximately 12:00 p.m. on December 19, 2006, Employee #1, a framing contractor employee, was framing a single-family residence. Employees working on other adjacent homes heard a noise. One of them went to the house where Employee #1 was working and found him face down on the concrete floor of the garage. Employee #1 had fallen 10 feet 7 inches from the second level of the residence. One of the employees rendered first aid and others called for emergency services. Employee #1 was transported to University Medical Center in Fresno. He died on the evening of December 20, 2006.
