Investigation Summary
On July 24, 2006, Employee #1 was manually harvesting cantaloupes in field Number 618 and placing the melons onto a machine. He stood up, walked a few yards and then collapsed. He was treated at Los Banos Hospital then hospitalized at Salina Valley Medical Hospital for a heat related illness.
