Investigation Summary
On June 5, 2003, an employee who was a carpenter, was performing framing operations at a multi-unit residential apartment complex. The employee was working on a second floor balcony when apparently the mid-railing failed, and he fell approximately 10 ft, breaking his neck. The employee was transported to the hospital where he died three days after the accident.
