Investigation Summary
On July 9, 2003, an employee of Reeves Construction Company was adding air to a tire on a road grader at the road construction jobsite. While he was adding air to the tire, the split rim blew apart and the tire blew off of the rim. The employee was struck on the face, head, arm, and leg, and was killed.
