Employee killed when struck by falling tree limb

Employee #1 was holding a rope to control the descent of a tree limb being cut by an arborist. The limb released and hit the pine tree next to it. The pine tree was 12.5 ft from the tree being cut. The 20-ft-long, 6-in. thick pine tree limb fell and struck Employee #1 on the head killing him.
