Investigation Summary
On October 11, 2002, some employees were involved in grounds maintenance activities. Employee #1 was assigned to pull weeds in a shaded area. When others noticed he had a cough and was using an inhalation spray in his mouth. Employee #1 decided to get a drink of water when he collapsed. Employee #1 was transferred to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The medical examiner's office stated that the death was due to natural causes.
