Employee Is Killed When Crushed Under the Bed of Trailer

On April 12, 2004, an employee, of a trucking company, apparently pulled the truck into the shop, raised the bed of the trailer using the hydraulics and slid underneath the bed of a 1999 Trail King lowboy tractor trailer to be serviced. The employee did not use jacks or blocks to support the trailer. The employee was found trapped under the bed of the trailer just below the chest. The employee was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
