Employee killed when car falls from lift

At approximately 9:45 a.m. on November 15, 2003, Employee #1, a mechanic, was working underneath a 1996 Oldsmobile Aurora when it fell between the posts of the Benwil, Model GP-7, two post surface lift. He sustained a compression fracture of the cervical vertebra, which ruptured at C3/C4, and multiple rib fractures. Employee #1 died.
