Investigation Summary
On September 26, 2002, Employee #1 was helping coworkers repair a Hergeth Hollingsworth Optomix II bale plucker when he collapsed to the floor. Emergency Medical Services were summoned, but their efforts to revive Employee #1 were not successful. Employee #1 was transported to the hospital, where he died without regaining consciousness. The family did not want an autopsy, and the coroner determined that Employee #1's death was the result of ischemic heart disease.
