Employees uninjured during fire at plant

A Lonatie automatic knitting machine on the second floor of the Adams-Millis High Point knitting plant caught fire. Initially, employees attempted to extinguish the blaze. However, plastic curtains behind the machine ignited, causing all 24 employees in the plant to evacuate. No one was injured or required medical attention.
