Employee dies when he falls from lift truck

At approximately 10:00 a.m. on November 16, 2002, Employee #1 was working off a fully guarded platform of a hi-way cabin service lift truck, Model Number D29-16CS, raised approximately 15 ft. The lift was at the rear door of a 757 aircraft. Employee #1 was working during a heavy rain storm when he fell from the lift and struck his head on the concrete tarmac. Employee #1 was hospitalized and died two days later.
